Pricing
What’s the price?
The design I produce is bespoke, individual and has to be tailored to fit your brief and needs as a business. One glove simply does not fit all. However good design does not have to be costly! My prices are affordable and we can work together to create a budget that suits your needs.
Design is not a commodity!

Design is a service and one that has be tailored and produced to get the desired effect. Good design is about problem solving and creating solutions, most of which cannot solved with templates, prospective work and crowd-sourcing to gain the lowest price possible. Graphic Design and now especially Web Design suffer from a misunderstanding that they are products and that they can be bought “off the rack” at the cheapest price in order to save money and keep costs down.
With branding, image and desirability becoming increasingly important in a time when many others are competing for business, desirable and effective design can easily give you the much needed advantage over your competitors, strengthen your products, services and create a clear message to your consumers and audience. As such it truly takes time and great care to develop an effective looking piece of design material that meets the expectations of the client and fulfils the solution needed.
The project triangle
![]()

The above project triangle is the typical consideration that designers and clients have to take on-board with each project regardless of its type.
Fast, Good and Cheap represent three aspects of a project - the timeline, the quality and the budget. Depending on the situation they sometimes fall into requirements or even constraints. The fact is that usually these three are combined by the tyranny of “OR”.
One can choose either:
- fast and good OR
- good and cheap OR
- fast and cheap
Having the option of all three…

This can be achieved by creating quality design briefs that include:
- Realistic project timelines.
- Informed and quality devised solutions.
- Realistic budgets for both the client and the designer.
If the above three attributes are equally considered for each project, a great ‘end solution’ should normally be able to be produced. Clients should try to be as realistic as possible when initially deciding on their project requirements. If clients also understand how the project ‘triangle’ will work in reality this will help to create a realistic environment, that will enable their requirements to be satisfactorily met.
